MEET Heather F.

Heather integrates the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda to help people reconnect with their strength, balance, and vitality. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), a NAMA board-certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, a former transportation engineer, a devoted mother, nature enthusiast, and a survivor of depression—bringing lived experience, empathy, and clarity to every student she serves.

Her path into yoga was anything but ordinary. Nearly 20 years ago, Heather was hesitant to begin her yoga teacher journey; her tight body and restless mind didn’t seem to match the flexible, serene image of yogis often portrayed at the time. Yet her curiosity and amazing teachers, led her to explore yoga more deeply, eventually discovering the profound wisdom of Ayurveda as well.

As a lifelong seeker, Heather approaches teaching with the ability to see each student as a whole person, recognizing their individual needs within the practice. Her classes support those navigating physical limitations, managing stress, anger, anxiety, or depression, and anyone seeking greater vitality and harmony. After class, your transformation will be visible and felt as a calm, regulated self with a lighter mind and uplifted energetic disposition.

Heather especially enjoys incorporating pranayama into her classes as a powerful tool to shift both mental and physical patterns. Drawing from the full spectrum of yoga practices and the insights of Ayurveda, she creates a space where students can explore, release, and expand—moving toward a more vibrant, balanced and aligned version of themselves
