Meet Ann
Ann began practicing yoga while in college, where she was first introduced to the deeper connection between anatomy and movement. A kinesiology professor who integrated yoga into lab sessions sparked her curiosity about how the body moves, heals, and adapts through mindful practice. That early inspiration stayed with her and eventually led her to deepen her studies. She recently completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through the Direct Path Institute, where she further explored the physical, mental, and energetic dimensions of yoga.
Outside the studio, Ann works as a dentist at Branford Dental Care, where her background in healthcare informs the thoughtful, anatomy-aware approach she brings to teaching yoga. She enjoys bridging her knowledge of the body with mindful movement to help students feel stronger, more balanced, and connected. When she’s not practicing dentistry or yoga, Ann enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her French bulldog.
